In the back yard on a Govee temp sensor the following low temps were briefly hit: Nov 17 hit 24.4F. Dec 21 hit 13.6F. Jan 21 hit 28.8F. Jan 31 hit 21.9F. Feb 15 hit 27.1F. Might have taken a small amount of frost damage. |

build | Action Feb 20, 2023 |
No need for pruning as its a very small whip of a tree still. Sprayed with copper fungicide. The other 2 mulberries had some kind of leaf curl/spots that killed a half dozen leafs so I think a prevantative fungicide may be a good idea. |

No fruit in the first year. It was a late start. Maybe better luck next year. |

Transplanted into a half wine barrel. A very large increase in container size so I try and limit waterings. |

Girardi is a productive mulberry with a dwarf growing habit. I wanted something that could be managed in a large container. |
