4-6 berries in the first year! A few fell off and were lost, but I did eat 3. Maybe still slightly less ripe in parts, but I could taste almost like hints of a sweet red berry wine. |

warning | Issues Feb 20, 2023 |
In the back yard on a Govee temp sensor the following low temps were briefly hit: Nov 17 hit 24.4F. Dec 21 hit 13.6F. Jan 21 hit 28.8F. Jan 31 hit 21.9F. Feb 15 hit 27.1F. I don't think this tree took any damage at all. |

build | Action Feb 10, 2023 |
Pruned fairly heavily as this is a fast growing tree! Sprayed with copper fungicide as it had some kind of leaf curl/spots that killed a few leafs so I think a prevantative fungicide may be a good idea. |

upgrade | Potting Up May 31, 2022 |
Transplanted into a half wine barrel. A very large increase in container size so I limit waterings. |

Motivation for getting this tree is a friend near Portland gets fruit from an ILlinois Everbearing down there he says has excellent fruit. It's a white/red mulberry hybrid and is known to be a vigorous grower. |
