Doing much better now after PHing the fertilizer and giving it more nitrogen. |
visibility | Observation May 27, 2024 |
image |
The plant struggled after the repot. I hadn't been pHing my fertilizer at all, so it was sitting around 7.5-8. I think this made it so the plant couldn't uptake any nutrients. Also, I added a lot of vermiculite to the soil which raises alkalinity/reduces acidity. |

Leaves turned green after heavy fertilization and then turned back yellow. I'm guessing it needs more nitrogen again. |

The leaves are yellowing. It may have run out of nitrogen after the initial burst of leaves. I added a little more nitrogen to the fertilizer and most of the new leaves are greener. |

It seems to have recovered. |
upgrade | Potting Up May 5, 2022 |

Transplanted into the same pot but with new dirt. Because of aphids and other problems, lots of leaves have died, regrown, and died again causing many roots to grow. |
upgrade | Potting Up May 4, 2022 |
I removed small dead roots and added new dirt. I hosed down the whole plant and then sprayed it with neem oil. |
