| Notes | Purchased Supermarket 'red' Cayanne Chillies to eat (not a plant) Planted from seed into 5ltr pot of compost and left to grow. Watered with tap water now and then. Always been outside and in same place (west facing) producing fruit all the time. Hot to taste! It is 'infact' 4 plants from seeds that germinated together in verry close proximity. |

24/4/25 - Watered all bed with full measure of 'Calcium feed' to stop leaf curl. |

20/4/25 - Light watering with tomato feed and also a calcium additive - assuming the earth bed has been washed of nutrients during the past 3 months. Notice leaf curl on the 'Tomohon Market' chillis which can be an indication of calcium depletion. |

3 months have passed, during which time the largest rainfall in the area for years. Planted in December 2024 into new bed with other similar chills. Still producing chillis although sporadic after winter. Still alive and looking OK! |
