May 25, 2025
25/5/25 - Potted up the big one into 7.5 litre pot with Compost, 10% Vermiculite, 10% Pearlite, 1 teaspoon of Epson salt Mix.
Waited till wilted with thirst then used the potting trick of 'Plant the pot within pot to get the perfect size hole and position. worked very well.

16/5/25 - Since the 2nd May around every 3rd day have alternated between tapwater and tomato feed. All looking very healthy. The big one is in need of a stake soon and now 2 feet high. the other smaller two which lost their tops are looking very well and today re-potted up to a medium size pot as a 3 pot scenario.
With a Neem oil Spray this evening. to make sure to keep away 'black aphids' which seem to be appearing of late.

20/4/25 - Light watering with very weak mix of 'tomato feed'. All 3 bouncing back well. One in particular is growing straight and now over 12" tall, will need repotting this week. The other two which list their tops due to water starvation are shooting out at the sides well and making a good recovery.

Three still left in pots. Survived the 3 month winter relatively unaided in the 'Greenhouse Cabinet'. One looking very well and will need repotting soon and the other 2 looking a bit sad but with new growth bouncing back well. These 2 I trimmed off dead tops due to lack of water.
All planted in 'new bed' back on 20/12/24. all looking better than the

Growing well considering winter time. Looking healthy, watering every 2 weeks or so. Kept outside in open 'Greenhouse Cabinet'.
Thinner longer and darker leaves compared to the other Capsicums. Not flowering yet! Batch 2 obviously smaller.
