Notes | Started germination from soaked pips collected from a local pub's garden tree (Queen Victoria Pub) wrapped in dampened paper towel and placed in a 'transparent 'Zipp Bag' on the window sill which gets morning light. After approximately 6 weeks there was 80% germination of the seeds. Planted in very small pots with compost, with the green bits sticking out in most cases. but definitely burying what looks like the tap root, (germinated seeds all around 1" long) |
